Concept of spatial development and interregional cooperation of the Danube regions

     The main objective of the project is to develop the concept of spatial development and interregional cooperation of the Danube regions.
This project is divided into 4 sectoral schemes:

• Natural Conditions,
• Settlement Structure and Human Resources,
• Transport and Technical Infrastructure ,
• Economy.

     The main outcome of the project is the worked out integrated strategy for the development of the Danube regions on the basis of the statistics. 

    The project involves public and civil society organizations, as well as universities and other institutions from 8 Eastern European States (Slovak Republic - Grant Applicant, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Moldova, Ukraine).
